AOM2025

Year 3; AOM, BAM and Synergy Days 2025

As I enter the third year of my PhD, 2025 has already been a milestone year. I’ve had the pleasure of presenting a poster at the Academy of Management (AOM) Conference, sharing a developmental paper at BAM 2025, and contributing to Synergy Days 2025 as a plenary organiser on regional development. It has been an incredible journey so far — and with more opportunities ahead, I’m excited to see what the rest of the year will bring.

Academy of Management (AOM) 2025

This year, I was honoured to receive the Vice President Strategic Fund, which enabled me to attend the Academy of Management (AOM) 2025 , hosted in Europe for the very first time, in Copenhagen. I had the opportunity to present my poster and take part in a conference that welcomed over 13,400 attendees from across the world. It was an amazing experience, both professionally and personally, and a true highlight of my PhD journey so far.

I am delighted to be presenting a developmental paper at the British Academy of Management (BAM) 2025 on 5th September. This conference is one of the UK’s leading gatherings for management scholars, attracting a vibrant international community of researchers and practitioners. I’m looking forward to sharing my work, receiving valuable feedback, and connecting with colleagues across the field — and I’ll share more reflections after the event.

Rotterdam, Netherlands

I am honoured to take part in Synergy Days 2025, contributing as a plenary speaker on Regional Development. This annual event brings together European stakeholders from research, industry, and policy to strengthen collaboration across digital innovation ecosystems. It was a fantastic opportunity to share insights from my PhD research, exchange ideas with peers from across Europe, and be part of the discussions shaping future innovation policy.
